7-18-2008: Results Are In!
The 2008 MWCI National Competition is concluded, and it was a dark week for the Allies. But in the spirit of good sportmanship, congratulations are due to the Axis Captains for their well-played victory this year. It almost looked like the Axis came with a plan this year (I've probably made myself a target next year for that one ;-). The final score was Axis: 145,200 points to the Allies: 84,825 points. Congratulations Axis! Banzai!
All week no one ever gave up, and everyone battled well. I have been hearing stories from captains on both teams about the great fun it was. There are some pictures from the event posted online and detailed scores from the individual battles available via the links below:

6-26-2008: Summer Newsletter
Just in time for Nationals: Our hardworking, underpaid editor has finished the summer issue of Task Force 144. The hard copies are at the printers and should be in the mail on Friday, so you should be seeing them Monday or so. Of course for those like me who cannot wait, the issue (in color!) is available via the usual link in the "Member's Area".
Many thanks again to Lars for putting this together. I'm off now to find a color printer!
